This weekend, The Baby Daily held our second annual car seat check event. With the help of some fabulous Safe Kids Idaho volunteers we checked over 120 car seats and seat belts in just two days!!! It was great to see all the parents come out concerned about the safety of their kids. Moms, Dads, Grandmas and Grandpas flocked to the event and were educated on car seat safety. Some seats were old, some recalled, and many misused, creating a very unsafe situation for the kids. No worries, we got kids new seats, seats installed correctly, resulting in lots of smiles and happy faces.
Just like last year, The Baby Daily incentified the event by donating 100 FREE booster seats to the families you participated in the event. A small price to pay when I know that we have over 100 kids safer on Idaho roads. I would like to thank all our volunteers for their help and concern for our local kids. GREAT JOB TEAM!!!
